Ugly is the Way You Lie

Ugly is the Way you lie
Thinking you won with strides
Blending away the corpses
Forcing your way with stripes

Ugly is the way you draw
Feeding on betrayed ways thaw
Sinking ships your glorious dawn
Shouting on a painful saw

Ugly is the game you play
Weakling you will often say
Picking on my childish way
Someday you'll know what to say

Ugly with my happy face
Lately you can never stay
For betrayal I have always slayed
So goodbye I gladly say

Ugly is time frame you display
Showing everyone I know
How long I've tried to grow
Your life has no other goals

Ugly is the lame excuse
You give as a puppet
Pointing at the world's mistake
As you outgrow your shell

Ugly is a house of eaglets
Hiding under the nest
Refuse all call to jump
And soar like a king

Ugly is the time I waste
Listening to you laugh at struggle's
Never will you be caught trying
For your life in shadows is perfect

Ugly is the tired I accept
When I'm so close to the end
Only if I look ahead
And forget all regrets

Ugly are the punches you throw
When I spread my arms for a hug
And watch me somersault
Still in shock

Ugly is the tone you take
As I reach the finish line
Punch the air a victory dance
Just to end my joy

Ugly is the wasted time
Spent on people that don't care
When all you have is an endgame
With smiles on people's face
